The face behind FEIGE

Hi, my name is Sujen. As many of you would know.

Born teacher, coffee lover, runner, foodie and child of God. It all started when we moved to Piketberg, a small town in the Swartland. Circumstances and I believe the way of life has made me realize that there is a different way than living the rushed life.

Why start a blog? Every second person can do this? Well, my goal is not to be the best new blogger or social media influencer. I am just a young wife trying, like everyone else to live a healthy balanced life and why not share it.

Here at FEIGE I am going to share home cooked recipes, life challenges and many more, but most of all I am going to be real and raw.

FEIGE was my first can we say "project" in 

2020. The beautiful house where we life on a farm has a fig tree. As I always do, I tried to find a healthy recipe to create a delicious fig preserve. As a small town works I easily got connected with a fig farmer in the mountain and here I am. Now a fig preserve 'tannie'. Selling yummy fig preserve at the local market. Therefore FEIGE represents the start of new to me. The new me. The new challenges. The new habits. The new insights and the new blog.
